Patricia Black
Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Compliance Officer
Ms. Black has over 17 years of professional experience, predominately in the financial
industry. She served as a Senior Investment Operations Associate in the private
equity department of Prudential Financial, Inc. She also served as Assistant Manager
of Compliance in the insurance section of Prudential Financial, Inc.
Ms. Black received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Ramapo
College of New Jersey, where she was a member of the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society.
Prior to joining Clean Energy Capital, Ms. Black was the Assistant Manager of Compliance
at Prudential Financial. At Prudential, Ms. Black’s unit was responsible for matters
related to the preparation of various regulatory requests from the NAIC, states,
and governmental agencies for five statutory companies. Her unit was also responsible
for the preparation of specific government filings with the Federal Reserve Bank
of New York and the US Commerce Department.
Ms. Black joined Prudential Financial in 2000 as a Senior Investment Operations
Associate. As a Senior Investment Operations Associate, Ms. Black established data
management procedures for implementation of fund information and produced internal
and external reporting. In addition, Ms. Black was responsible for processing initial
screening and analysis of investment opportunities.
Prior to 2000, Ms. Black had positions in the domestic transportation industry with
Becton Dickinson and Company and in the real estate industry. Ms. Black is responsible
for all administrative functions of Clean Energy Capital. In addition, experience
and expertise with compliance and regulation in the securities industry will contribute
significantly to Clean Energy Capital’s operations.
